🌳 The story of the Wanswering Woodsman 🌳

People called him the Woodsman because he spent most of his free time clearing old trails and wandering places no one else bothered with. One morning he found a path where rose and honeysuckle grew along the fence line. The sweet scent of that secret path stuck with him. He visited this path all summer long. Before season’s end, he harvested petals from each flower. He encapsulated their aromas into a balm as a reminder of his discovery from wandering in the woods.

Stinging Nettle-Infused oil: a nourishing hair-loving herb

We cold-infuse Stinging Nettle into Olive Oil for 4-6 weeks, then add plant-based Candelilla wax and authentic essential oils to handcraft this beard balm. We use Organic & American-grown Stinging Nettle.

Stinging Nettle is a wild-plant superfood known for being rich in vitamins that grow healthy hair, skin, and nails. It can be consumed via tea or tincture. In the case of our beard balms, we infuse it into our oil for a nourishing & medicinal element.

We use Rose absolutely oil for a natural, but powerful aroma. The scent of Rosa Centifolia is widely recognized for its delicate and desirable aroma. This plant is considered to be an aphrodisiac that promotes uplifting, sensual, and comforting sensations.

The powerful aroma of Rose flowers have been recognized for centuries. It's written into the fabric of our culture of uplifting sensations.

Honeysuckle is a flower that grows on a twisting vine. These flowers bloom throughout the warmest months of the year and produce a sweet aroma. There are nearly 200 varieties of honeysuckle found throughout the world. We infuse the potent scent of the Lonicera caprifolium variety of honeysuckle into our Wandering Woodsman beard balm.

We use olive oil and plant-based Candelilla wax in this beard balm to soothe the skin without clogging it. Olive oil is nourishing for the skin. A little goes a long way. Just use a fingertip's worth when applying.

We use candelilla wax in this salve instead of beeswax to ensure that all of this salve's ingredients are 100% plant-based.

We always use 100% authentic essential oils that are derived from the plant itself. We never use fragrance oils or synthetic ingredients in any of our products. Our oils are certified Kosher and are never tested on animals.
